after impoundment have been worked out.
6 The appraisal report of impounding safety has been sub-
mitted in line with the regulations and a specific conclusion has
been reached to allow the impoundment in the report.
7 Issues that may affect the safe operation after impound-
ment have been solved and solutions for tackling key technical
problems have been addressed.
8 The impoundment plan and the diversion outlet (tunnel)
plugging plan have been compiled and approved, and all prepara-
tions are complete.
9 Annual construction safety scheme during flood season
(including flood regulating plan) has been approved by the au-
thorized flood control headquarters and related measures have
been carried out.
6. 3. 3 The acceptance of reservoir impoundment shall include
the followings:
1 Check whether the completed works meets impounding
requirements.
2 Check land requisition, resettlement of affected residents
and reservoir clearing.
3 Check the treatment condition of surrounding banks near
the dam.
4 Check impounding preparation.
5 Appraise the construction quality of completed construc-
tion related to impoundment.
6 Give tackling suggestions for problems of the acceptance.
7 Discuss and pass the appraisal report of stage accept-
ance.
6. 3. 4 If impoundment is carried out in stages, the acceptance
of reservoir impoundment should also be carried out in stages.
