3 The corresponding national codes and regulations for safety and environment
protection shall be strictly enforced during the installation of the generation units of the hydro⁃
power station. Detailed regulations for safety and environmental protection shall be established
according to the actual situation
4 The installation site shall be protected against wind, rain, dust, fire, and possess
enough lighting facilities and construction safeguards according to requirements. The tempera⁃
ture of the installation site should not be less than 5℃ , and the relative air humidity should
be less than 85%. Installation of equipment and components that require temperature, hu⁃
midity and other special conditions shall be carried out according to the design requirements
5 Before being installed, the equipment shall be entirely swept clean and inspected.
The major size and fit tolerance of important components shall be checked, and complete sets
of equipment with manufacturer guaranty may not be disassembled
6 For the embedment of the equipment foundation baseplate, the elevation deviation
should not be larger than -5-0mm, the center and distribution position deviation not be lar⁃
ger than 10mm, and the horizontal deviation not be larger than 1mm/ m
7 Embedded components shall be reinforced and strengthened after installation. Foun⁃
dation bolts, lifting jacks, tautnessess, wedges and foundation boards shall be fixed by spot
welding. The interface between an embedded component and concrete shall not have any oil
stains or serious corrosion
8 Wedges for adjusting shall be used in pairs, and the overlapping length be larger
than 2/ 3. After installation, the contact condition of a wedge that bears important
components shall be inspected with a 0 05mm feeler gauge, and the length of contact on each
side shall be larger than 70%
9 Equipment installation shall be carried out after the foundation concrete strength up
to 80% of its design value. Secondary concrete of the foundation board shall be grouted dense⁃
ly, and micro⁃expansive cement should be used
10 All the equipment combination surface shall be bright and clean without burrs. A
0 05mm feeler gauge should be used for inspection, and it shall not pass through any joint
gap. If localised gaps are permitted, a 0 1mm feeler gauge shall be employed for inspection,
and the depth shall not be larger than 1 / 3 of the combination width, and the total length not
be larger than 20% of the perimeter. There shall be no gaps in the vicinity of assembly bolts
and dowels. All the misalignment of the installation surfaces at the combination joint should
not be larger than 0 10mm
11 Attention shall be paid to match marks during component assembly. If several gen⁃
erating units are installed at the same time, each generating unit shall be assembled with
