In the total completed investment, 207郾 70 billion Yuan was allocated to the
construction of flood control projects, 258郾 52 billion Yuan for the construction of
water resources projects, 40郾 37 billion Yuan for soil and water conservation and
ecological restoration, and 103郾 37 billion Yuan for special projects, such as
hydropower development and capacity building郾

The competed investment for the seven major river basins reached 476郾 15 billion
Yuan, of which 133郾 81 billion Yuan was invested in river basins in the southeast,
southwest and northwest of China郾 Completed investments in eastern, middle
western and northeast, regions were 235郾 84 billion Yuan, 116郾 34 billion Yuan,
223郾 49 billion Yuan and 34郾 29 billion Yuan, accounting 38郾 7% , 19郾 1% , 36郾 6% ,
5郾 6% of the total, respectively郾
