12) Butt joint misalignment on the working surfaces of embedded parts shall be
treated to form gentle slopes. Weld scars and weld reinforcement on the flow⁃
passing surfaces and working surfaces shall be made even and polished, while
weld pits shall be repaired and polished.
13) When the installation of embedded parts has been finished and checked, the
second⁃stage concrete shall be cast in 5-7 days. If it exceeds the time limit or
there is any impact damage, the installation shall be rechecked. Only after it
has passed the recheck can the concrete be cast. The pouring height of concrete
at one time should not be larger than 5 0m. When pouring concrete, measures
shall be taken to prevent embedded parts and formwork from being hit. Measures
shall also be taken to tamp the concrete.
14) After form stripping of the second⁃stage concrete, embedded parts shall be re⁃
checked and the results shall be well recorded. At the same time, check the size
of concrete structures and remove the remaining steel bars and sundries to avoid
affecting the operation of the sluice gates.
15) Before retaining water, trial installation of all bulkhead gate slots and shared
gate slots shall be done well.
2 Installation of plane sluice gates shall meet the following requirements:
1) Before the installation of integrated gates, the gate size shall be rechecked accord⁃
ing to the design drawings and meet relevant requirements in this specification.
2) When sectional sluice gates have been assembled together, not only the gate size
shall be rechecked according to the relevant requirements in this specification,
but also the following requirements shall be met: if the segments are bolted to⁃
gether, bolts shall be tightened uniformly and the amount of rubber compression
between segments shall meet the design requirements; if the segments are welded
together, a qualified welding process shall be adopted, and both the welding and
checking of welding quality shall meet the relevant welding requirements of this
specification. Measures shall be taken while welding to control deformation.
3) The size of filling valves shall meet the requirements of the design drawings, and
the guide mechanism shall be flexible and reliable. The contact between seals and
seat valves shall be uniform, and meet the requirements of water stopping.
4) The physical and mechanical properties of rubber water seal shall meet the re⁃
quirements of GB 10706.
5) The position of the rubber seal screw holes shall be consistent with those of the
gate leaf and seal press plates. The hole diameter shall be less than that of the
bolts by 1 0mm and the holes shall be drilled by special hollow drills. The holes
