4郯 082 sewage treatment plants were under operation, with a total pipeline of
395郯 000 km long and daily treatment capacity of 202郾 45 million m3 / d郾 The annual
amount of sewage treatment reached to 43郾 92 billion m3郾

Reform in project construction and management郾 Reform of state鄄owned water
management institutional system has been deepened郾 Full funding has been
provided for managerial staff and operation and maintenance in the water sector郾
Government procurement has been highlighted for bettering off services for
operation and maintenance of water projects郾 Professionalized, intensified and
socialized management of water projects has made considerable progress郾

In 2015, a total of 21郾 7 billion Yuan had been used for covering cost of managerial
staff and operation and maintenance of 13郯 115 water utilities, which covered
83郾 0% of the total郾 The funds used for basic expenses for staff of public utilities
were 12郾 60 billion Yuan that covered 92郾 0% ; while the funds used for operation
and maintenance of water facilities were 9郾 1 billion Yuan that covered 74郾 0% 郾
Reform of management system by separating functions of administration with
operation was adopted in 9郯 402 utilities, accounted for 72郾 0% of the total郾

In 2015, another 34 enterprises were approved as Class鄄A qualification of
supervisors for water and hydropower project construction, 93 got Class鄄B
qualification and 144 got the Class鄄C qualification郾 Another 13 enterprises got
Class鄄A qualification of supervisors for soil and water conservation project
construction, 30 got the Class鄄B qualification and 40 got the Class鄄C qualification郾
There were 1 enterprise obtained Class鄄A qualification of supervisors for
electromechanical and metal equipment manufacture and 6 obtained Class鄄B
