A total of 26郯 698 water projects were under construction in 2017, with a total
investment of 2郯 500郾 62 billion Yuan, an increase of 15郾 6% comparing to that of
the year before郾 The projects with Central Government finance were 15郯 554 with a

decrease of 5郾 6% comparing to the year before郾 The total funds used by projects
under construction reached 1郯 325郾 96 billion Yuan and increased 9郾 4% comparing
to the year before郾 There were 19郯 724 newly鄄constructed projects in 2017 with an
increase of 7郾 1%, and newly鄄added investment was 907郾 52 billion Yuan with an
increase of 31郾 2% comparing to the year before郾

The completed civil works of earth, stone and concrete structures were 3郾 52 billion
m , 550 million m and 90 million m , respectively郾 By the end of 2017, the ratio

of complete quantity of earthwork, stonework, concrete of the under鄄construction
projects were 67郾 7%, 64郾 4% and 59郾 7%, respectively郾
