In the total completed investment, 193郾 03 billion Yuan was allocated to the
construction of flood control projects, 270郾 83 billion Yuan for the construction of
water resources projects, 19郾 29 billion Yuan for soil and water conservation and
ecological restoration, and 62郾 07 billion Yuan for special projects, such as
hydropower development and capacity building郾

The competed investment for seven major river basins reached 442郾 50 billion Yuan,
of which 102郾 72 billion Yuan was invested in river basins in the southeast,
southwest and northwest of China郾 Moreover, completed investments in eastern,
middle, western and northeast regions were 210郾 47 billion Yuan, 91郾 32 billion
Yuan, 188郾 27 billion Yuan and 55郾 16 billion Yuan respectively, accounting
38郾 6% , 16郾 7% , 34郾 6% , 10郾 1% of the total郾
