On September 9, 2010, Mr. Jiaoyong, Vice Minister of Water Resources, addressed a speech at the Seminar on groundwater management, which is undertaken by Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland（GEUS), SkyTEM, Water Center South (VCS) and DHI. Ms. Karen Ellemann, Minister for Environment of Danmark, presented at the seminar and made a speech.

Mr. Jiaoyong introduced groundwater situation in China, emphasized on the importance of cooperation and exchange between China and Denmark and expressed willingness of developing further cooperation on the basis MOU signed between the two parties this June.

Other participants include representatives from Department of International Cooperation, Science and Technology, Department of Water Resources and Hai River Water Resources Commission of the MInistry of Water Resources, and Shanghai Water Authority, as well as Deputy Head of Mission and Minister Counselor of Denmark and experts from the two countries.
