On November 3, 2010, Mr. Liu Ning, Vice Minister of Water Resources, addressed at the Seminar titled the 4th Sino-Swiss Water Management, which is held in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Mr. Liu Ning introduced flood control and disaster relief in China, emphasized on the importance of cooperation and exchange between China and Switzerland. Mr. Andreas G？tz, Deputy Director of Swiss Federal Office for the Environment also addressed a keynote speech on flood control system in Switzerland.
Sino-Swiss Water Management Seminar is an important bilateral water activity between two countries and three have been successfully undertaken. The seminar involves experts from both China and Switzerland on risk management, river basin management and flood control, etc.
