On July 16th, 2015, the 55th board meeting of the World Water Council was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Mr. Chen Lei, Minister of Water Resources, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. He stressed that being confronted with the challenge of the global water safety, Ministry of Water Resources of China was willing to work together with World Water Council to realize the action plans initiated by the World Water Forum as well as guide and promote the process of the global water management. Mr. Fortune, Honorary President of the World Water Council, Mr. Braga, President of the World Water Council, and Mr. Huang Xuming, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, also attended the meeting and all delivered speeches.
