Young pupils work in a group to make a collage at Nanmenwai Primary School in Saihan district, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on March 21. The school event was held to mark World Water Day, an annual event falling on March 22. During the day, a lot of organizations promoted the importance of access to clean water, and the need to raise people’s awareness regarding the importance of saving water. Some events also focused on promoting sustainable resource usage through events such as concerts and educational campaigns to raise money for access to clean drinking water in impoverished areas.
